This is my eighth pair of peregrine falcons.

When they say run everywhere, they mean it. I'm a trail runner and I run very windy trails and rocky terrain. These are the safest and most stable shoes I have ever owned. Thanks to Saucony for continuing this shoe! Oh, by the way, I'm in Auburn, California, the endurance capital of the world.

Pros
  • The cushioning is perfect - not too soft and not too hard.
Cons
  • May not be breathable enough for sweaty feet

Does what it should

I bought these because I jog/hike/run on rocky trails in Arizona and Wyoming. Based on the Brooks Ghost 12 road bike boots I thought they were less cushioned. I wear a 10.5 and Saucony fits perfectly. They're slightly narrower than the Brooks Ghost, and the extra tight support in the midsole and around the heel was noticeable but not uncomfortable. (more reassuring) The Saucony has less drop and a lot less "foam" sticking out around the heel than the regular running shoes I like. It seems…

Pros
  • Cheaper than anywhere else. Good stone plate and cushioning.
Cons
  • Not suitable for road surfaces or sidewalks

Good stop! -- my new rating

I had several trail and hiking shoes from different brands and knew what I was looking for. I needed a shoe with good grip, especially when walking up and down steep hills and rocks. These did not disappoint us. They met my expectations, unlike my other Nike, Reebok and North Face sneakers, and at a price I can't complain about. I'm glad I tried these.

Pros
  • Product has arrived and as expected, fit and style is good
Cons
  • May be too heavy for some runners

Blister City - my new review

Wore them on a trail run and got big blisters on the insteps of both legs. I will give them goodwill as I missed the return window to get a refund.

Pros
  • Super comfort and very good stability on swing pads Very happy to have them for our track.
Cons
  • Can wear out quickly

Great arch support but small and narrow!

My husband wears almost a solid 9.5 in each brand - these shoes are a bit snug - so half a size down and if you wear thick socks maybe go a full size. They're also a little narrow, and according to him, they still fit his legs, which aren't wide but are still a bit narrow. Super cool colors and honestly the photos don't do the storm/gravel justice! helps you stay upright and dig through rocks and gravel. There's not too much cushioning, so insoles can help with that. Arch support is good. but I

Pros
  • The sole of the shoe is durable, which reduces the need for frequent replacement.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those with ankle instability

The best shoes he has ever worn!

My husband asked for these exact shoes when he needed a replacement. He claims these are the most comfortable shoes he has ever worn. A pre-replacement pair never looks like they need replacing, but they love a new look every few years! And they look so good with everything he wears! LSL

Pros
  • Delivery date as promised. The shoes fit well and the quality is very good. Good salesman.
Cons
  • May not provide adequate toe protection.

ebay shit! in my rating

The product is great as I have another pair in a different color. However, it is absolutely shocking that ebay would have the audacity to send me a pair of shoes covered in dried mud! It's hard to find the right words, but pathetic, annoying and unacceptable words come to mind.

Pros
  • Great running shoes
Cons
  • It's been less than a month and the sole is already breaking.

They will last a long time

I've been wearing my Peregrine Falcons almost every day for the past 6 weeks, just took them on a camping trip to Costa Rica. Mud, rain, dirt and rocky trails and they still look brand new. They are built to last.

Pros
  • Durable materials ensure the longevity of these running shoes.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people with Achilles tendonitis.

Excellent cross-country runner; worth the extra cost

I run in them, but they are also comfortable enough to use every day while walking. This is my third pair of Peregrine Falcons and I love the added waterproofing and durable padding that lasts.

Pros
  • Peregrine is the best hiking shoe. No blistering and superior comfort. I like that they are light.
Cons
  • Design/color may not be for everyone

Very convenient! good for me

I walk on sand paths for about 1 hour every day. This and previous versions of Saucony Peregrine shoes are the only ones suitable for both daily hikes and the occasional long hike (4-9 hours). They would be great if they just kept sand off your shoes. They are better than my previous peregrine falcons but still allow sand to build up in your shoes.

Pros
  • The shoe offers excellent foot support, making it suitable for longer runs.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people with leg ulcers

The most comfortable shoes I've found.

I've bought them in a few different colors over the last 5 years. These are the best hiking, trail running, and casual shoes I've found. It's like wearing slippers!

Pros
  • They're versatile - they can be used for more than just trail running, making them a great investment.
Cons
  • May not be as comfortable as other running shoes

Great feel and look

I'm really excited about these shoes. I bought my first running Saucony in the mid 80's and was blown away by the comfort. For some reason subsequent purchases also failed, so I switched to other brands. I just saw this Peregrine 11 and decided to give it a try. The fit is great and the Future Black color combo is really crisp. The durability work is still ongoing of course, but for now I'm enjoying using it on the track.

Pros
  • Used them to walk the Spartan Beast - I had no problems with my feet. Definitely recommend.
Cons
  • May not provide adequate traction on slippery or wet surfaces.

Three stars for the brand, none for the seller.

Although both shoes are listed as a size 14, one runs significantly smaller than the other. I doubt that the seller sells fakes. Then I went to the Saucony site, ordered again, he came with the right shoes (weird I have to say that lol)

Pros
  • It has a cushioning midsole that reduces stress on the feet and joints.
Cons
  • Can be hard to find in stores

Ideal for intensive use

I get lots of compliments when I wear them. They are aesthetically pleasing and can endure many hours of everyday use. Great for walking/running. Not waterproof

Pros
  • love her all around
Cons
  • I haven't used it. When I opened the box, I found yellow stains on the boot for the right foot. To return.

Fits good! Helps support my high arches

Very convenient. Muy buena zapatillas. A bit heavy shoe but that is to be expected in a thick soled shoe. Very supportive for my high arches.

Pros
  • Mui Buena Zapatillas
Cons
  • Not suitable for people with wider or flat feet.

Tread with low endurance

Really fancy shoes. You get lots of compliments. They fit well and are comfortable. However, the protector begins to wear out after only 4 months of wear. These are my everyday hiking shoes and running shoes for shopping. On daily walks with my dog, I average about 2 miles per day. For the brand, price and trail runner, I expect more tread durability.

Pros
  • Great running shoes!
Cons
  • May not provide sufficient Arch support for some users.

Great trail running shoe that looks great too.

I am very happy with my new pair of Saucony Peregrine 11 trail running shoes. They were instantly comfortable and had just the right amount of cushioning and support. And since I also wear my sneakers as lounge shoes, they should look good too, and these pebble black shoes look great when I go out to dinner paired with my jeans for a casual, informal look.

Pros
  • understandable even for the old ones
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
