I liked that the battery was already installed. These instructions didn't work, but a simple YouTube video did! Works great!

Works like the original. Works perfectly on my 2007 accordion. You just need to cut it out and program it in any car key memory to start the car like the original.

It costs $150 to be cut and programmed by a professional locksmith. Honda wouldn't cut it because it didn't have their logo on it. I've been using it for two days, I've never dropped it and I can already hear the sound of the transponder chip. That makes me nervous 😕

electronics work perfectly. I was able to program it into my car with no problems, so now the locks work. If you don't remove the transponder chip from the old key, the car will roll over but not start.

I bought this product thinking I could just go and get the key but I can't. You must program these keys at the dealer to start the car, and dealers do not guarantee keys they do not sell personally. I didn't know that, otherwise I wouldn't have bought it. However, it opens my doors after a quick setup.

Worked great! It literally took me 1 minute to program my 2005 CRV after watching a YouTube video. The written instructions are nice too. I didn't need step 6. I just followed the first part of the instructions and repeated about 4 times until the remote locked the car. I didn't have a remote key fob, I just had a spare key with no remote and it worked great.

I needed a different key for a 2006 Honda Accord. I always have a little hesitation about buying such a key, as others have many negative experiences. But I needed it, so I decided to give it a try. Upon receipt I had the key cut out and then followed the instructions. That does not work. Came back, reread the instructions, then saw Kimberly's suggestion. Car mechanics don't like it when you bring your work in. I found a local locksmith who wanted $100 for both the key and the software fob, which is as good as it gets. Others wanted at least $165 and were "not guaranteed" that it would work. By the way, anyone (on this model at least) can program their own keyfobs, but if you program one, you'll have to reprogram them all. [Approval 2007]. worked fine You may say this isn't the Honda's "finish," but who cares?
