⚡️ Powerful Schumacher SC1308 Battery Charger & Engine Starter - 2/12/30/100A, 6V/12V Review

Purchased June 2019 for approximately $116. Have used it twice and know it seems to have an internal error. The voltage is 0.1-0.3 volts. My Fluke multimeter reads 11.7 volts. After reading the guide fully, I could not find any comfort in using this device. target dump!

I like the size, not bulky, good balance. The displays are great, the controls are easy to use, and the cables are long enough for most uses. I like the booster features of the booster for charging and starting with a dead battery. I have nothing negative to say about this charger. I had a competitor charger that cost almost twice as much, didn't charge well and didn't last 90 days.

I left my car in my driveway without using it for over a week and it wouldn't start when I was ready to drive. My neighbor jumped me. After that I ordered it from Revain. It arrived the next day and I used it to safely restore the battery. I left it overnight and it certainly restored my battery to 100%. I didn't test it on car jumps because I didn't have it at the time I had to jump.

This charger is extremely easy to use and works as advertised. Just connect the cables to the battery, turn on the charger, choose the mode (assist, boost, jump) and the charger will do the rest automatically. While charging, it displays either percent or voltage. I charged my wife's Honda CRV from 35% to 100% overnight. This is a great device after weeks of idling our machines.

The first time it got stuck in 30A boost mode and I can't change it. I hit the switch and the charger turns off as it should. Press the switch again and it turns back on for the boost. I can't get it in any other setting. I also can't switch from volts to charge percentage. It's on the volt meter. Unfortunately, the return period has expired. I've had it for a while. Bought to prepare for next winter. The reviews were good, so I took a chance. Lost over a hundred dollars. Schumacher no longer…

The SC1308 charger does not work as stated in the user manual. The home display tells you that the battery you bought is probably connected to the charger. After 6 hours of charging, the % value has not changed from the initial value of 95. NO charge indicator light that turns amber while charging and turns green when charging is complete. When troubleshooting, the charger should be checked by observing a spark when the terminals touch. That's ridiculous. They put the same instruction manuals…

This charger was purchased in February 2020. It worked fine until this month when it stopped working properly. Full charging of the batteries has stopped. I called support and tried to explain what was going on. The gentleman on the phone kept interrupting me and wouldn't let me explain. He then demanded that I run a test procedure on my VOM and the battery. I needed a battery charger/motor starter, at the beginning of my research I wanted to buy a wheel assembly that would be stored in my garage until needed when needed on the vehicle roll.
