🔲 Scosche FD1428B: The Perfect ISO Double DIN Dash Kit for Ford/Lincoln/Mercury 2001-05 - Black Review

My son and I installed his new stereo with this double din kit. It was quick and easy. No problem. Recommend if you need it!

Radio better not have a knob, you have to grind it yourself. Double dyne, only one side slot fits two screw holes and slides out when you press the radio a little hard. The front panel is too thick to dig out a button, port or USB. The size is right, but the rest of the buyers regretted it.

Bought for my husband's 2003 Mustang. It doesn't fit right. And the radio is not quite suitable either. The sizes are a bit off. Basically it's a cheap fake. I'll definitely look elsewhere for this part as this one doesn't quite fit. Don't waste money on it.

Dual band stereo needs to be installed. The frame does not fit the radio properly. I started the installation. Then I realized that it would take a lot of effort. Decided to install later. At least the cork was correct. I did all the wiring. You just need to work on a really hard mount, this might work for you. Doesn't work for me.

I originally bought the Metra dash kit for my 2002 Mustang but the plastic was too hard and not cut properly to fit my Android radio that I bought on ebay have. He continued to jam the radio controls. Saw this alternative and the kit worked like a charm. I was able to find a fairing kit around my radio and it was strong enough not to break or break.

Update: GPS turned off on first use, now a fatal error pops up. Sometimes the DVD player won't play a new DVD. The radio loses 5 minutes a day. I get no help from this company. Bought for 6.2" Car DVD CD Player in Dash. Double Din Car Radio. GPS Navigation. Support Wireless Bluetooth. Music SWC FM/AM RDS. Radio-USB/TF. Doesn't fit as recommended. Too small to fit the unit to fit around.

This item goes well with my husband's new Pioneer AVH-280BT built-in DVD receiver with 6.2" display and bluetooth (it's AMAZING btw! I highly recommend this deck if that's what you're looking for). This kit was suitable for installing a Pioneer FH-X700BT on my 2005 Ford Explorer. I had to drill through holes that align the mounting frame with the centering pins on the car so that it fits completely against the car's mounting frame.
