I bought this pump new in July 2019 and it failed in May 2020. I contacted Seaflo on May 11, 2020 and they responded quickly. I tried bypassing the pressure switch as suggested but the pump still wouldn't work. The problem was that the motor itself was blocked. Replaced a 45psi, 5gpm pump with this pump. Added a holding tank to compensate for the 2 GPM reduction in throughput. The accumulator works like a mini pressure tank with a built in air chamber that compresses with the water pressure from the pump, giving you extra water flow before the pump hits the bottom and kicks in.
