You need a strong WiFi or place a lightbulb near the router.

The first thing I want to point out is that you need to make sure you have a strong Wi-Fi connection or use a lightbulb very close to your router! I bought this for a downstairs room in my house and was shocked to keep getting a repeat message saying the bulb should basically be closer to the router (sigh). So I moved the lightbulb up, closer to the router, and it worked fine. I had no problems. the installation took less than 5 minutes. I have to point out that I am not at all tech savvy. Iโ€ฆ

From the set time, the smart light bulbs will light up slowly for the time you set. Your lights will gradually get brighter in the morning. In addition, you can set the lighting to mimic a sunset so you can fall asleep more naturally each night. Your lightbulbs will slowly dim over the amount of time you set.

Read if you can't connect.

These lamps are not very good but I bought them on sale. If you think they're the most economical choice then go for it, but all feedback on connectivity issues and returns are not anomalies. If you're having trouble connecting the bulb to your WiFi, try disconnecting your mobile data before doing anything. still. Close the app, or better yet, uninstall it, forget about all wifi networks due to lightbulbs etc. You can even delete your account from the settings menu and re-register to reallyโ€ฆ

NOT easy to install. Look out for BLUETOOTH and WiFi connectivity

I don't understand why they have such a high rating. Many users are right that these lights are EXTREMELY difficult to activate. I'd avoid those WiFi connection lights and stick with Bluetooth, and here's why: When I bought my first two Echo points, they came with Sengled lights, which I don't recall having any activation issues. Fast forward over a year later and in my new home I wanted more Alexa controlled lightbulbs. I saw them and thought they were the same as the ones I already had. NOTโ€ฆ
