Room for more color

Funbox, ripped out cheap lining, added (with double foam) 12 total, empty 1/2 molds, added color cakes and added 4 colors from Sennelier tube, now I have the perfect travel pan. PERFECT

Pros
  • Quick change
Cons
  • Useless functions

Would I buy again and again

I really like this set. I quickly pulled out my old fountain set that couldn't be removed and swapped out of my pocket. The colors are great and if you feel you are missing some you can add two more. Some people mentioned putting the tray halves in the middle, but I pulled out the liner, sealed the trays with putty, and now I have 21 colors to choose from and room for a travel brush in this little gem. My old mixing bowl wasn't convenient for mixing and I had to carry a separate mixing bowl…

Great deal and perfect travel palette

I have several travel watercolor palettes. There are a few that I bought and I also have a few that I made myself. When I saw Sennelier selling this Aqua Mini on Revain for around $20-$25 I knew I had to buy it. What can I say? If you are, or aspire to be, a watercolor artist in any capacity, you cannot afford not to get one! This small 8 half panel travel palette rivals many other branded palettes with many more paint colors. The Sennelier Aquamini Palette is often my first choice when I'm on…

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Security

A bit pricey at first but very nice color and quality.

I'm sold. I love these watercolors very much. The jar is very small - the size of an iPhone, but the color lasts a long time as it is very rich in pigment. They mix very well and go on smoothly. I've ordered tubes and empty palette halves in the colors I like to replace some of the colors I don't use very often. The case comes with 12 but will hold 14 half plates. It also had a small ring on the back so you can just touch the can with your palm. I am very satisfied with the Sennelier…

Great fun to work with

As a long time user of Winsor and Newton watercolors I was curious to try the half panel Sennelier box. The colors are just great in the work, the paint lays down very well. As others have said, there is a lot of pigment in the flowers. I've dry compared them to similar colors from the Winsor and Newton ranges and probably because I'm used to their colors I prefer the old Winsor and Newton colours. But I think I'll use them just as much over time and I find these Sennelier colors to be great…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Disappear

Great colors, packaging could be better.

I am giving these five stars mainly because of the flowers themselves, not so much because of their packaging. It is ideal for watercolor painting on the go. However, I was very disappointed with how the colors are packaged inside (except my green was noticeably smaller). There is a cheap plastic holder for paints and brushes that takes up most of the tin. For compact travel it seemed like a huge waste of space so I bought empty halves and moved the paints to the halves and threw away the cheap

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Very expensive
