This lamp is as described. It's actually better than I expected. The light is bright and my plants are showing growth. It's convenient and doesn't take up much space. I recommend it.

I bought a Penn-Plax, curved glass, 5 gallon tank. Great tank, but it came with easy scrap. This light fits the bill in terms of size, lumens and cost. That pleases the plants (and the fish).

This is a bright white light falling on the top of a rimless aquarium. It fits perfectly in my three and a half gallon cubic tank. My plants grow well under this light.

Super cheap look and feel. Got a MUCH better light for my other nano aquarium for literally a dollar more. Don't do this if you're trying to grow aquarium plants. To be honest I didn't even participate. I'll be back.

We use our aquarium as a night light in the living room. I was worried that this tiny little fish light wouldn't be bright enough, but gosh this thing is perfect, it doesn't block the view of the top of the aquarium and doesn't make a spotlight in the aquarium!

This light is very easy to attach to the aquarium, it's bright and at a great price. However, it has a slight upward angle that can be uncomfortable for your eyes. I have a 5 gallon rimless tank (no plastic rim on top) on my kitchen counter. Light will enter your eyes from this height, but this may not be the case if you have the container on a table or lower surface. I returned it for this reason.

It's very bright for such a small size and very easy to put on! I like the on/off switch so you don't have to turn it off, but the light itself has an upward tilt I saw another reviewer say and it gets in your eyes): I somehow solved the problem by adding a channel Glue it so it hangs over the edge of the world. It's really annoying though, which is why I'll probably be sending it back.
