If you're like me, you were looking for a relatively flat bowl of moderate size. I found this and the general shape looked like it was what I wanted. I saw it had 45 Oz and 8.5 inch dimensions but didn't bother to measure out what that would actually look like. Just know it is likely larger than most other bowls, no issues with the bowl itself however.

These bowls are perfect for a meal of pasta, stew, or salad. I love making a large dinner salad as a meal, and these bowls are exactly the size and depth I needed.

The porcelain is really high quality. They clean up Super easy, hold great volume and are quality. I'll probably buy more! Great straight up sides make them very tall to stack but keep sauces in the bowl and Great with soups and stews, AWESOME lap serving bowl if you want to use them while watching TV. VERY SOLID PURCHASE!

These bowls are so nice! I bought them for my dad who is disabled with his hands and it’s difficult for him to eat. These bowls are deep enough so he can manage to eat his food without spilling all over the table Plus they are big enough to serve his entire meal.

It’s a fantastic bowl for pasta salads or soups and it doesn’t overheat in the microwave and heating prepared food up. It stacks beautifully and is very easy to rinse and clean

I purchased these to go along my mother’s porcelain plates that was passed onto me. The blue matches the trim of her plates perfectly. Also, they are extremely sturdy, but not too heavy. I may purchase an additional set of these. Excellent for a pasta or salad dish.

I was looking for taller sides for better salad bowls, so these are not really what i was looking for, however, these bowls are very well made, they are not super heavy, but not so delicate they break when they bang together either. I find that we use these bowls alot more often than I thought. We use them really like plates with sides!

These are the perfect size and depth for my work from home salad lunches. I haven't tried with pasta yet, but imagine it would be great, or as a grain bowl serving dish. Very pleased
