for safety use Tradesafe

Tradesafe Lock out locks are the only ones we use. we are in construction and Safety is #1 the price is good. but we look at the safety for our crews.

Pros
  • This product is exactly what we needed for our lockout/tagout requirements.
Cons
  • The padlocks are not available in keyed-alike sets, which may make it more challenging to manage multiple sets of locks

how they compare to Master lock

I like the body it is the same as the Master lock. Mechanism so far works well. the paper on the lock won't stay marked very well. Even with a permit marker

Pros
  • These locks are perfect from the shipper with the labels required and everything ready to go.
Cons
  • The padlocks are not rated for extreme environments, making them unsuitable for use in outdoor or harsh conditions

Works perfectly good for me

I am in middle management at a large construction company and these suit our needs very well. We build our own LOTO kits for our electricians and these have always performed with no issues. Would recommend!

Pros
  • Worked as described. Good quality. Price was good too.
Cons
  • The padlocks do not have a tamper-proof design, which may make them susceptible to interference or manipulation

Does the job.: my feedback

I like that they have their own individual key and number when handed out to employees for LOTO machines. Safety is the number one priority for the company.

Pros
  • Used for LOTO at several cabinets in a brand new factory.
Cons
  • The padlocks are not available in other colors, which limits the options for customization

Great Product good for me

I have been doing EHS for about 25 years. A lot of products out there to choose from and this meets all fo the needs, value, quality, price and overall function. Will order more in the future.

  • Great product.The breaker lockouts aren’t quite made for every breaker

  • The lockout tagout padlocks are not industrial-grade, which may make them less durable over time

Different colors are great.

When different techs are on multiple projects, it makes it easier to identify the tech and the project at the Panel or equipment.

Nice Quality - my new review

Product packaging was very nice. Set of 10 locks individually bagged and boxed and then boxed inside one single box. No worry about losing a key from a poorly packaged lock. Stickers already affixed to each lock. I would buy them again.

  • Durable, easy to use lock. Highly recommended.

  • The pack only contains 10 padlocks, which may not be enough for larger facilities or workplaces
