I have six of these on a wooden storage cart that are used on a smooth concrete floor. They make it very easy to move, turn and push sideways against the wall, even under heavy loads. They overcome small obstacles with an extra boost. The only trifle is that open bearings pick up dirt and sawdust and creak. But for a wood workshop, they seem like a good choice.

I am very pleased with this seller, the price was great, delivery was two days ahead of schedule, and the product was exactly as they described. I am all the happier with the product. The quality even exceeds my expectations. This is a very strong metal swivel castor that certainly won't flatten out on the bottom like softer castors often do, even with moderate loads that last a long time. The design of the product we received is the same as the picture and the quality of the reel appears to be very good. That being said, the smooth aged finish you see in the picture is not at all what we got. The wheel has a slightly rough surface and looks quite nickel plated (bright, not tarnished and even nickel colored). We left the caster because I still can't find this style anywhere. I'm not sure I would have ordered it if the picture represented what the product actually looked like. You
