It's great that the glass doesn't slip on the table.

They were great for replacing the bumpers on my glass table to keep the glass in place. I chose to use these instead of other bumpers because I don't need a gap between the glass and the metal frame (imagine having to remove crumbs all the time!). They have no gap and the glass sits flush. frame without movement.

Triple thumbs down!

Should have heard other reviews! However, none of the reviews provided a detailed explanation as to why this product sucks. While they're not sticky, they're slippery too! It's made of slippery, smooth plastic, so it doesn't gain pressure from the weight! I thought it was a sticky bumper type but pretty smooth and slippery flat circles. The glass is completely slippery and unusable.

At first it seemed that they would be too "tough ".

At first they seemed too "tough" but after installing them between the glass top and our cabinet (Hemnes dresser from Ikea) they really started to stick and hold the glass in place much better. than the dainty things that came with glass tops. The only thing I wish for them is that they appear carelessly cut - they aren't all perfectly round which is confusing - are they hand cut or something? Also, one pair had a piece of wrapper stuck to it and won't tear off, so now one pair has a strip of…

Exactly what the doctor ordered for my first aid kit

I use this on the spring loop mirror for my first aid kit. There is no handle on the closet door so there is a lot of fingerprints on the mirror for opening and closing. Not anymore after placing that little item on the mirror. The pad hasn't fallen off in the last month of use, and when I press the item to open the first aid kit, I've noticeably reduced fingerprints. There is no glue, just a natural stickiness to the glass. As it's a bumper cover I'm thinking of other uses (under glass to…

Thin Silicone Discs for Installing Glass Shelves

This is just what you need to install a glass bathroom shelf that slides into a metal bracket. They're very thin so they were perfect for adding enough padding and getting a good grip on the shelf and still allowing the shelf to slide properly. I'm sure something like this originally came with the shelf, but with various renters and having the shelf removed for cleaning, I'm pretty sure they got lost. They work well anywhere you don't need the height of taller plastic bumpers to install glass…

Ideal for separating the glass top of furniture

This was exactly what I was looking for and they did a great job. They are very thin so you need to look carefully to make sure you separate them all. I received the exact number that is stated on the package. You also need to work slowly so the panes don't slip when you place the glass top on the furniture. The disks appear to "magnetize" (like static electricity) and shift. Someone wrote that they are very thin and don't protect like other furniture "cushions". But that is not the purpose of…

PRO/CONTOUR - CHEAP AND EASY SOLUTION FOR SLIDING GLASS TOP

FIRST thanks to everyone who answered my question if this would work well to prevent the glass top from moving on my bar table! That glass lid has been bugging me since I got it because it moves when I touch it lightly! These cheap little pads completely solved the problem! - I washed the glass on both sides and cleaned the table underneath, dried it and then put a disc in each of the four corners. I carefully put the glass back in place and it seemed to me that I saw a stain under the glass…

Not impressed at first but after a while.

*UPDATE* Wrote this review right after "installation" and as stated was not impressed. A few hours passed and I decided to play with it and to my surprise the glass doesn't move unless I apply excessive force to it. I also ended up going back and adding a second to each of the 4 small "legs" that are attached to the underside of the glass on the table. So it looks like they will work after all and I would recommend them! I guess I just need to let them rest for a bit, or at least in my case…
