    Not what I expected

    The concept of this silicone dish sponge is great, but the functionality isn't that great. It's hard to hold on to and doesn't do the cleaning job I expected. I usually use a tea towel and a scratching post when washing dishes. I figured it would at least replace the tea towel I change every day to do the dishes. However, it does not clean the dishes very well. I've used it to clean fruits and veggies, but even then I prefer a stiff vegetable brush. I bought 7 packs thinking I would share with…

    I haven't liked it so far.

    I was looking for something more durable and less smelly to replace the traditional dishwashing sponge. Because it is non-absorbent, it does not lather and does not hold soap. Maybe it's a learning curve. I feel like I'm wasting a lot of soap and it wasn't what I was hoping for. I love to bake bread every week and it's great for washing dishes after baking.     I couldn't wait for them to arrive. I love that they don't smell when drying and hold germs like a sponge. They clean glasses and utensils much easier than plastic, plastic feels durable when washed and doesn't slip easily. I like that they don't scratch non-stick cookware.     The product is quite thin; therefore not suitable for the intended purpose; can't get much friction to rub off stuck things. However, I found another use for it. Face scrub, it's gentle and a good size for that. mirror and window. I used vinegar water and wiped it off with a mop. Perfect! Used on the bathroom sink and countertop, worked well.
