I've had really good experiences with it over the past two months. I use it to connect directly to a QNap TVS-951X (4 x 1TB Samsung 860 Evo SSDs, 5 x 2TB HDDs running TQier) and my transfer speeds have stayed almost constant.

This adapter was exactly what I wanted for my computer. I didn't have M.2 NVMe slots on my motherboard, but I wanted to increase the NVMe SSD capacity. The adapter uses a PCIe x4 slot. The adapter has an M.2 NVMe card slot and an M.2 SATA SSD slot. I don't currently use the M.2 SATA slot, but probably will in the future. The adapter is well made. I was impressed with the exposed gold inserts that improve SSD cooling.

I bought two of these, although the first one normally only fit one nvme in the slot. Great price and value. I just didn't want to deal with the inconvenience since I only needed one slot.

Works as advertised. I love it. Use with HP EX900 M.2 1TB PCIe 3.1 X4 Nvme. Be sure to check what your GPU is running after you install something in the PCIe slot. Depending on the motherboard and the number of PCIe lanes supported by your processor, your GPU may switch from x16 to x8.

I will say briefly. This card was near perfect, but had to deduct a star for an inconsistent thermal paste pad. GOOD: - Works with both Samsung EVO 970 NVMe and WD Blue SSD B+M key drives. - No drivers are required to use with them.
