Works well for sewing

is only good for putting a needle in a sewing machine. quite an expensive little device. I wish that needle and thread would help as well, but it doesn't. still looking for an item that does this.

Does the job.: Thread & Floss

It's not as strong as I'd like it to be, but it does what it's designed to do. Update: 20.11. I used it ten times and the button fell off and rolled somewhere in the abyss. I paid $3.50 in May 2020 and now Singer wants $8.11.

The best accessories for sewing machines.

I love this needle setter! I have multiple sewing machines and I always cringe at the thought of changing needles. It just wasn't possible to hold the needle with tweezers. But this inexpensive device makes changing a needle in the car a pleasure.

Very handy when changing needles for Brother machines

I really like using this little tool to hold the needle so I can be sure it is fully seated when I tighten the screw. Otherwise, the gap will be very narrow for your fingers and the needle will be slippery. For those who don't understand how it works, just press the spring button at the end. This allows access to the hook hole. Insert the machine needle into the looper with the flat side facing away from you. release the button You are now using the shaft of the tool, not the end - the needle…
