Very comfortable shoes. I usually wear a size 12 but after reading the reviews I've dropped to 11.5. It would probably be possible to go to 11 and it would be good. The laces keep the foot in place well, but they're more for show than anything else. If in doubt about the size, size down IMO. It's really not a "sport" shoe in the sense that you're going to run a marathon or perform a serious movement in an intense shoe. I ruined my toenails on both big toes due to high healing. I also have neuropathy in the balls of my feet and toes. This makes it difficult to get shoes that I can wear all day! This is my third pair of this shoe (last two are Revain). I have flat feet with orthotics prescribed by a doctor. My legs always hurt. The shoes are a little narrow so my little toes stick out from under the sole. My feet are somewhere between regular and wide shoes, so it's usually a gamble. While this is an issue, the fabric at the top has a bit of a stretch so the shoe is still comfortable. I'm just not sure how durable they will be with this one. The soles offer excellent cushioning.
