SlimLine 2232 Angled Extension White Review

I understand why people have had cable burns because there is no cable jacket protection for hot and neutral wires. The ground pin is so weak that it breaks in a short time. Tried plugging in a new connector for the cable. I was surprised how the cord turned out to be made with no sheathing for all the wires.

The sockets seemed to be misaligned, it was difficult to put anything in the sockets and one of them suddenly stopped working so I returned it. It was worth spending a little more to have a reliable extension cord that works consistently and I don't have to worry about the electricity catching fire or anything.

Terrible. Maybe I should have read the other reviews, but you might think that the extension should be easy enough to install correctly. The standard American cord for a portable boombox only runs about 1/2 way, unsafe and not even functional. I don't even bother with a return, something so simple doesn't work, I don't want a second try

I would give this 5 stars if it was dark brown but I had to settle for white which just doesn't suit me. I have 2 NuWave induction cooktops in a location with no outlets. Both are rated at 1300W, which this cable is perfect for. But the white cord is so conspicuous that you can't hide it. That looks awful so I'll keep looking for a brown or black 15 AMP in the length I need.

I ordered 2 of these and only received one. When I didn't see "your order is on the way" for any of them, it was too late to do anything about it. And while the one cable I've received has worked great for the past few months, it's NOT at the right angle as advertised, it's more of a left angle. The only picture for 13' shows it looks like the connector goes to the right which is what I want and the other end has two connectors on one side and one on the other. I ordered this item to plug in a lightbulb. Within 90 seconds of unplugging the lamp from its existing location and plugging it into the cord, THE CORD ARRIVED! Flames erupted from the cord just a few feet from my eight week old son three feet away. We lost two rugs, a blanket and our lamp, but luckily we managed to get the cord out of the wall and put out the flames before anyone got hurt (or we lost our house). This is NOT a safe product.
