This is my 5th Slingbox and I have been a regular customer for 15 years. I promoted their products with my friends and spent quite a bit of money on their products. If I were basing this review on the technical aspects of this product I would probably give it 4 stars. I have a few issues that I've been trying to fix. I'm really not sure if the problems are the result of my hardware or theirs. Overall, however, the product works as advertised. But there are other factors that influence a customer's experience with a product. Slingbox ad says "Watch your home TV on any device, anywhere." It's just not true. SlingBox manufactures various models. This is her peak and it's a joke! SlingMedia is a terrible company with terrible product support, but the worst thing about this device is that after you paid $275 for it, it could very well be out of warranty. Mine did, twice! We bought this almost a year ago and have had all sorts of configuration problems. It turns out that the issues we encountered were due to the way we approached setup, and not Slingbox's fault. We live in Costa Rica, so a family member rented an extra cable box from a cable TV provider.
