1/4" NPT Male&Male threads for connecting to male threaded pipe fittings. SUS304 body and ball for extra strength and corrosion resistance. Inline valve for connecting two pipes going in the same direction with Double-seal system. Heavy duty stainless handles to increase service life, fast 1/4 turn open or closed operation. Standard port flow for smaller valve size, each valve individually tested for maximum safety about Water, Oil, and Gas(no freezing)

Needed a sturdy 3/8 valve for the feed line to an Alkaline filter unit.

This is a 1/2 NPT double male stainless steel valve, with a ball valve internal shut-off. Noting most JG quick connect valves for 3/8 or 1/4 are all pure plastic, I needed one that could be used a lot more often and didn't start leaking after a few months of use. This one fits the bill. When combined with a1/2 NPT to 3/8 JG quick connect adapter (like this one - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00YGR3NJS ) this one easily goes in-line with your standard water feed and provides a super-secure…

Pros
  • Material was 304 stainless, not 316 as shown on line. In this case it did not matter much.
Cons
  • Limited Flow: The small size of the DERNORD Stainless Steel Mini Ball Valve means it can only handle a limited flow rate, making it unsuitable for high-volume applications

Well Built on my review.

Nice little valve, has a smooth action, and nice clean male threads. Doesn't leak, and looks nice. Really like how compact it is.

Pros
  • It lets water flow and it stops water from flowing. It’s a valve.
Cons
  • Prone to Clogging: The small size of the valve can cause it to clog more easily, resulting in costly maintenance and downtime

Nice Ball Valve good for me

Bought this for my RV hot water heater. It came with a Chinese one way check valve that didn’t work. Needed a very short ball valve to close for winterization that I didn’t have to cut water lines to install and it was perfect. Worked as it should.

  • The valve's small size makes it difficult to install, requiring more precise alignment and placement
