My York Barker. It's my third and I've never experienced this annoyance. But this collar is more reliable. It's not a shock collar, but it vibrates and buzzes. He doesn't quite understand what's going on, but it works! I hope this continues because it worked wonders for his mother.

Everything works as described but that didn't stop my Chihuahua mix from barking. The first few times he just barks, and the next few times he squeaks and vibrates, but not at the same time. The vibration has a strange sound, like a Halloween toy. My dog stops to hear beeps and then starts barking at hearing noises. No deterrent to his barking. The size suits him - he weighs 12 pounds.
