This pole is awesome! I used to have a cheap $14 stick that I used on vacations, but it took up a lot of room in my bag and wasn't as durable. This thing is very strong. It seems to me that I can stand on the hedges, they are so strong. I also like that the part that attaches directly to the GoPro is metal so it doesn't feel like it's going to break like all my other mounts. Attractive, adaptable, works as intended. The aluminum teeth are a little soft to the touch and will wear and round if misaligned when tightened. I see some signs that dressing isn't quite right the first time. Not a big problem if you're careful, but timing the teeth before tightening them requires considerable attention. Overall this extender is well designed and made. The downside is that it's a little fiddly to get it in the right position as you have to unscrew each section and make sure you line it up properly with the teeth in the joint before screwing it back in to set the angle.
