Fits great on my 2016 RAM. Installation took 15 minutes and that includes removing from the packaging, reading the directions, etc.I took the advise of another reviewer and did not remove the rubber seal as the directions called for. I also did not install the little clear round bumpers, I drove around all day after installing and the shield didn't flex or rub anywhere, I'll keep an eye on it, but don't think those bumpers are needed either.I really debated this style shield versus the stick on

I brought the product for a 4th gen Ram 1500. After just about a week, some part of the double tape started to come off. The deflector holds with no problem. But small rock can sometimes get into the holes between the double tape and the paint.That been said, I had it for almost 2 months now, it had been through several winter storms with no problem. I have not put this on my vehicle yet, I will update when I do but I have a couple complaints just taking it out of the box. First off, it is painted plastic and I hate that. It's just like the black big shield except painted chrome, I'm guessing that's why people are complaining that it doesn't match the factory chrome bc it's a harder plastic and it's not already black. Arrived a day before expected. Great deal. Sturdy. Only down side was it didnt fit exactly to my hood. But made a few ajustments myself to it and made it fit.

Hardware is too small. Had to use self tapping screws hated drilling holes in my truck but they wont be seen. I like the look and it's durable quality and will do the job

I read the reviews prior installing and shout out to the other reviewer about the sticker on the back- that was the first thing I took off so I wouldn't forget. Followed instructions and went on smoothly. I love that it's flush mount and looks sleek. I hope it sticks and stays well as I'm a frequent car wash customer.

I have used this before on my other trucks saves hood dings and does help deflect bugs off windshield, good price and fast shipping. I prefer this type of mounting versus the tighter fitting one stick on type because after about 4 years 3m tape lets loose i know first hand it is a big job to get tape residue off hood, then you must use same to remount deflector back on i will never purchase that type again had 2 so far and both did not last over 4 yrs. Looks nice on my truck. Aside from protecting the paint a bit, I don't know that I've really noticed any difference in bugs on the windshield or anything. A couple departures from the instructions that I took were first the little rubber bumpers they ask you to put on your hood. For one, the thing doesn't move enough to ever touch your hood in the first place unless it's physically struck by something of a big enough size that the thing would probably break anyway.
