I've tried a few times to buy a copy of their software (they're now called Widen), and it was just terrible. I'm a designer, not a programmer, and I could never figure out what was going on under the hood, and the UI wasn't intuitive at all. Even if you could figure it out, it's pretty much impossible to use if you aren't familiar with the terms. I've also heard horrible things about the customer service. So I'm definitely not recommending it. If you're interested in a CRM/accounts-based…

Pros
  • Free! No monthly fees or minimum spend.
  • Great for SMBs
Cons
  • There are bugs, the design is confusing, and the mobile apps do not work as well as the web site

The best place to get your creative juices flowing.

This is the perfect place for creatives who want to bring their ideas to life and create something amazing. I've had so many great experiences here, whether it's helping with some initial concept planning, working with designers on projects or even developing a whole brand identity. Everyone is super friendly and eager to help! And they're super efficient too, with project management systems and an online toolbox. A few years ago, my idea was 'runway' - now it's real! They were really helpful…

Pros
  • They're fast and flexible.
  • They make your project easy.
  • You always know what to expect and you never get lost in translation.
Cons
  • Some freelancers are better than others, but not everyone is the same.
  • You may not feel comfortable going back to them after you're finished with them.

This is actually pretty cool. You get a free logo. They're quick and responsive. They'll take care of everything. No surprises. But there's one thing that needs to change: the price. $200 for a logo is ridiculous. Especially since they won't let you see any other logos before committing to yours. And even if you like their work, you still have to pay $200 for the privilege of showing them your logo. That's outrageous. They could charge anywhere from $50 to $100, and it would still be cheaper…

Pros
  • If you've ever wanted to make a logo out of your face then this is the place for you!
  • A simple way to make fun things and share them easily
  • Really cheap pricing!
Cons
  • Not many options to play around with (You can't import images or really add any customizations)
  • There is no sound/music included in the demo videos so if you're planning on sharing anything online you may want to include an audio track.
  • You don't get a free license until after you sign up and start creating content
