I would not use this with higher wattage bulbs.

I would not use this with higher wattage bulbs. Pros: Fits two fluorescent tubes (equivalent to 100w) and does what I was looking for. Cons: Very thin cheap plastic and I would be very concerned about the risk of melting at higher wattage. Wattage Bulbs I may be paranoid, but I see no guarantee that this has actually been long tested with high wattage bulbs (eg 2 x 100w or something in that range). Guess I'll have to check it out for myself to calm down.

Don't even waste your time

If I could give minus 100 stars I would. I ordered several smart devices and they all set up in seconds and I was able to create Alexa routines with no issues. This was not possible for this "intelligent" socket. After 2 hours I was able to sync with the app and Alexa. I've performed this process over a dozen times. After about 10 minutes the device does not respond and does not work. It was never able to connect to the proposed app, but it did to a completely different smart home app, butโ€ฆ

Who knew this miracle existed?

I have several plants that need more light than east or west windows in Iowa can provide. I KNEW there must be an alternative to buying a specific lamp. I discovered this wonderful 15 foot outlet on an extension cord with a switch, and then I discovered this miracle of being able to tilt the light bulb itself. I am sorry. I am a 60 year old woman who would disagree if told only large fluorescent lights or tall floor lamps would help. I think I showed them. Now I'm diving into the lightbulbโ€ฆ
