🔧 Sommerfeld's Quick Assembly Jig Review

I bought this to work with Sommerfeld's shaker and groove kit. Adjusting the cutting height of the bit was easy with this tool and after watching some great videos.

I really only needed this for installing intermediate plates. Unfortunately, the raised panel overlay doesn't really match the raised panel attachment I'm using. It wasn't a big problem but considering why I bought this lure it seems like a loss. However, the device works very well with other Sommerfeld bits that I have. I bought a Sommerfelds Connector Making Kit and their Easy Set Up Jig and I can't get them to work properly. I tried using their Reverse Glue Cutter with an Easy Set Up Jig. I cut the wood to exactly 3/4" thick and set the template to match the thickness of my wood. If everything works perfectly when put together, the wood surfaces should match perfectly. I really became a fan of Sommerfeld bit sets and bought this tool with the expectation that I would love it like all their other tools. The reality is a little different.
