Reasonable price, possibly incompatibility

Reasonable price for speed and capacity but these Sony cards still have compatibility issues. Despite claims that this has been fixed (and this is an updated version), this card still does not work in slot 1 (UHC-II slot) in the Olympus OM-D EM1 Mark II, although it works as usual in slot 2 . UHC-1 card.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was

Unflappable, everything I use on my a7iii.

I've been using these cards regularly with my a7iii for a while. Absolutely no questions. Very fast! But to use its full potential, make sure you have a fast card reader that can give you an idea of how fast it is. You also need to check if your current card reader is UHS-II compliant. Mine wasn't and I had to upgrade.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Frequency

Seems to work with GH5s 4K 400 All Intra so that's enough for me

Tested with Crystal Mark, average only 93 reads, 74 writes! wasn't happy Then I realized that maybe it was a limitation of my USB 3.0 card reader that was causing the numbers to be low. Popped the card into my GH5s, shot some 4K 400 All-Is and the card seemed to be doing fine (I let it run for about 4 minutes). As a comparison I then tried my Sandisk Extreme Pro 95 card which actually had a higher CrystalMark write score (88) and this card didn't last more than 5 seconds in 4K 400 All-i GH5sโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Seems to work with GH5s 4K 400 All Intra so it's good enough for me

Pros
  • Downloadable file recovery software
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen

Sony has recalled these cards

I recently bought two 64GB cards. According to Sony's recall notice, if your card doesn't have a * on the back, it's damaged. Of the two cards I bought, one has * and the other doesn't. As indicated by another user's comments on this page, Sony may be inundated with calls and due to the COVID-19 situation, the replacement will be staggered. In my case, shipping the card from my country costs me and I have to pay customs fees if the replacement is delivered here, which ends up costing me moreโ€ฆ

Pros
  • UV Protection, X-ray Protection, Magnetic Protection, Anti-Static
Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled

Excellent reading speed in UHS-II mode. I tested the card in multiple UHS-II readers and the highest was 269.0 MB/s in a Lexar Professional Workflow SR2 UHS-II. The writing speed reached 99 MB/s with some card readers. This is a good card for those looking to improve their workflow with fast downloads. Write speeds aren't much faster than other UHS-I cards (like the SanDisk Extreme Pro 95MB/s UHS-I card), but the real improvement is download speeds. Sequential Read: 268.969 MB/s Sequentialโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Water and dust resistant
Cons
  • Big and chunky
