South Bay Alternative Comforter Purple Bedding Review

It's just a customer, beware. This blanket is not as long as it says on the packaging, 86 x 86, but it is 81 x 76 from what I measured. They are dark gray in this picture but it almost looks like gold when I received it. The blanket is not as thick as in the picture. I would not recommend this product.

I bought the purple twin and the purple doesn't look like the picture at all, more like purple. It's very thin and you can tell the seams are unraveling after the first wash. Very disappointed with this product and also with Revain. If I hadn't been so tired of sending things back and paying for return shipping this item would have been returned. I will keep it as it is until I find a better place to shop. After paying almost $35 for this blanket, it's not even worth $10.

The color is not nearly as rich and dark as in the advertising photo. It's also not as plush or fat. We certainly weren't expecting a duvet, but it's advertised as a duvet alternative. This is just a basic, low quality, lightweight blanket. It's okay for the price, but I definitely wouldn't buy it again, not to mention we had a few minor blemishes for some reason. Not with the hassle of sending it back. This is for my daughter and she thinks she'll just look for something else later.

Item was received late December 2015. Didn't use it until mid-January 2016, noticed the stitching wasn't very good but still held up. This duvet was washed for the first time in February. For a large machine in gentle mode, loosen the threads more according to the instructions, but the past return date must be returned. in January was up to 30 days. I bought the orange one for the daybed that now serves as my study/guest room. This used to be my son's room and it has a really cool paint job I did for him years ago including an orange slat for the chair. I chose orange to go with this color and I have to say it's VERY ORANGE lol. I am very disappointed in this comforter. I have one that is almost identical to this one (same thickness and stitching) and it's gray so I figured it was the same quality.
