Lock Fails Under Pressure

This industrial hardware latch was a huge disappointment. After I put it to the test this latch failed to securely lock even under moderate pressure .The design seems flimsy and unreliable, not up to par with other options in the category. On the plus side, the powder coating seems durable. Overall, I would not recommend this latch for any serious industrial and scientific applications..

Pros
  • Durable powder coating.
Cons
  • Flimsy and unreliable locking mechanism.

Trustworthy Latch for Industrial Security

i purchased this powder operated compression locking latch for my factory and it has quickly become a reliable addition to our security SYSTEM. After I put it to the test, our doors stayed shut and secure. The installation was easy and didn`t require any special tools. The only downside is the price, but you get what you pay for in terms of quality and durability. Overall a great investment for industrial and scientific applications....

Pros
  • High level of security with a tight and secure locking mechanism
Cons
  • Requires a powder actuated tool, which adds an additional cost and complexity to installation

Pros and cons not identical to standard

Very good handles do not fit like the original ones that came with my boxes had to bend the inside of my box as the latch doesn't sit as far back as it would if I had would have known it would have gotten 4 so all my snaps were the same but I didn't spend money twice on shipping and the price was a little higher if you ask me.

Pros
  • latches
Cons
  • old
