Expensive but cheesy.

Did the job but crappy design for $48. It's more of a $22 transition, I don't think it will last all season but time will tell.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank

Cheap design, not recommended

Connector had to be removed during installation. When we pulled the plug, the whole unit shattered, scattering all the small internal parts everywhere. Cheap design, not recommended.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

Good product, do not overtighten.

I wish I could give two reviews I would give one star. And a 5 star rating. The first derailleur I bought broke after just tightening the plastic lock nut. I had to buy a second one and leave it unattended for fear of breaking the other one. Plus it's a great product.

Pros
  • Quality workmanship
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Do not buy this POS

DO NOT buy this POS. I went through 3 of these things in under 2 months. In my opinion without a doubt the worst product I've bought from Amazon to date. Now I have to look for a good OEM part that will no doubt last this cheap product. I can't tell you enough, do not buy this product!

Pros
  • One-year trial
Cons
  • Empty

Cheap price, cheap item. Didn't last.

I doubt I received a defective one. Maybe 20 starts on it, then I could turn the key more. I literally have to rock it until it finally lets me crank. When I went to change the OEM part I noticed a few cracks on it. Spend a little more money on them and get an OEM. This can cause you to get stuck on the water.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Functionality

Switch cut-off problem

When the safety switch clip snaps onto the switch, the key does not stay in place very well. When you turn the key to start the engine, the key does not always stay in the run position when the key is released in the run position and shuts off the engine. You must carefully return the key to the working position so that it doesn't just go to the off position. Even if it keeps working, if you press the switch lightly, it goes to the "off" position. POORLY MADE SWITCH.

Pros
  • Very good quality
Cons
  • Transparency

If you're like me and value reviews before you buy, DO NOT buy this overpriced junk. Maybe I just caught a broken part, but other reviews seem to be reporting the exact same issue, leading me to say you can trust another buyer to report the same thing. THE KEY DOESN'T STAY, seriously? Exactly 5 hours of testing after installation I thought something was wrong with my engine. I then held the starting position after the start and voila, the engine stayed on, after releasing the key the engine…

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • There are cons
