Nonsense and unsafe, disabled GFCI on my inverter several times over the course of a few weeks until it finally screwed up my inverter. When running the switching time was not nearly as fast as claimed, a noticeable delay when switching from inverter to AC and vice versa. The advertisement (Spartan Power SP-TS4500PLUS) says 5500W and the instructions says 4500W However it doesn't matter to me, as I am using it on a 15A @ 120V circuit. This product works as intended. However. It has a design flaw. When this device is connected, everything works fine. If the inverter fails, however, there is no security. You need to add a relay to the system so that the inverter will cut the 12v line and switch to shore power if something happens to the inverter. This simple automatic switch is inexpensive and easy to install. I only noticed one small problem with this switch. The battery voltage reading is consistently low, at least half a volt (0.5 VDC). Both my solar charge controller and inverter have digital displays that show battery voltage, and this switch always reads 1/2 volt lower battery voltage.
