Based on the reviews and ratings I had high hopes for these sleeves. I measured my hand very carefully using the instructions. And then I measured again and my husband also measured it because it seemed unlikely that I would fit a size XL. But no matter how many times I checked again, the guide said in no uncertain terms that I need XL. The sleeves fit around my elbow but gape completely around my forearm. There is no compression and there is no way they will stay in place during activity.

I have had ulnar nerve problems and occasional bursitis-like pain around my elbows and after my occupational therapist confirmed that compressions can be used, I bought these based on other reviews. They're great when you just want light compression that's comfortable enough to wear and not too bulky. Also, the beautiful blue makes me feel a little more festive, as opposed to the standard brown or black you typically use for braces and braces. Not required but definitely a bonus!

My elbow size is 7 3/4", which according to the size chart should be average. The sleeves are a little loose but comfortable and offer some warmth that relieves pain. But - I'm back online to order small ones the medium ones are loose enough to go down my arm and end at the wrists these are very well made cuffs - very comfortable and the compression is evenly distributed across the cuff I'm hypersensitive against chemical odors and these cuffs have no gas smell.

I am including photos showing the actual product alongside the product photos so you can see the difference. I ordered pink but the product I received is fluorescent coral and not the pink in the product photos. Also, there's a conspicuous label sticking out at the top of the back of the sleeve, which is annoying, but I suppose you could cut it off and get rid of any scuffs. I read several reviews and thought long and hard about which one to buy. I chose this compression sleeve because of the many positive reviews and recommendations. I almost didn't buy this because someone complained about the itchy label. The label is only sewn on at one end, so cutting it off is easy - no problem.
