I installed a fuse tap but the toggle fuse was positioned so there was no room for the fuse tap. That works great. The wire is very thick and well made. This has been powering my DVR perfectly for a few weeks now.

I installed a switch on my Ford F150 and needed to replace the fuse and there was no space for it. So I modified the fuse box cover and hooked up that fuse by cutting a wire, adding a switch and hiding it. This worked great for what I was doing.

Got this to test the current through the mini ATM fuse sockets in the fuse box as some of these sockets don't have room to insert a fuse rectifier so I can use this to extend the socket to accommodate the rectifiers can be inserted. OR use this clip with a low wattage AMP clip to do the same and maintain circuit overload protection with your existing fuse. A good thing!

I used this pigtail to isolate the IGN fuse on my 2008 Saturn Vue when it was towed flat behind our RV. The IGN fuse must be pulled to prevent battery discharge while the vehicle is being towed. I cut off the hot side (red wire) and plugged the switch into the circuit so I just have to turn the switch off to tow it and turn it on when the car needs to move.

My car fuse box has mini blades. It connected well. The great thing is that the extension cord accepts both mini and regular blade fuses! I bought this to use as a switchable extension of my fuse box in the trunk of my car. I extended one of the leads and installed a momentary switch to break the circuit. The problem I have is that it doesn't fit the mini fuse socket at all without modifying it. I had to file the prongs on the inside to widen the gap to fit the groove and also file the outside of the plastic on top as it was too wide.
