Spectre Performance 8778 Air Intake Tube Review

The Y-connection air intake works pretty well, the only issue I didn't like was the fact that it's just plastic covered in chrome paint. :(

It's plastic so it doesn't retain engine heat, but it's a thick plastic that will stand the test of time. And no, it doesn't melt when used with a turbo unless you're using say 7,000-10,000 horsepower. Yes, it will outlive your little 300hp turbocharged Mustang.

Includes connector for connection to 3" hose. The two inlet ports are at an angle of about 90 degrees or more, with the outlet port separating the remaining about 270 degrees. Adding a second filter with this Y reduces the effect of the main intake restriction (filter area), which increases throttle noise and engine performance. and also significantly improves MPG.
