Works as advertised.

Works as it should. I am currently using this to mount an aftermarket intake to my car's OEM intake hose. So far there are no problems.

Pros
  • Ease of use
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Stay away from the heat!

They could probably be used next to something that doesn't generate heat. I used them in a Specter close clearance air intake system. When they got hot they lost their shape and didn't hold the air tubes in place.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons

Not suitable for spare parts

Although the product is of good quality, it does not stick tightly to the throttle body. I was looking for one for my LS Swap crawler tractor. No matter how tight the clamps are, the tension will slowly release, allowing the filter to sink onto the belt.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Something different

I ended up having to use silicone connectors and throw them in the trash.

When my engine was shut down the clutches became oily/slippery from heating. They fell apart on subsequent runs no matter how tight I tightened the clamps. I ended up having to use silicone connectors and throw them in the trash.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure
