Clean large open flutes to prevent non-ferrous metal wear. I also use a small amount of penetrating lubricant to keep the tool cool and ensure clean cuts on aluminum edges.

Very good package - but no problem. The bits were smaller than what I used and they didn't jingle and cut as well as my previous sets. Good price for what you get.

They tear through aluminum like butter. Would have been 5 stars but I have double ridges and I'm missing a flat top ridge. I haven't contacted the seller about this because it's not a big deal to me.

I wasn't expecting much given the price, but these things cut aluminum like butter. They're going to make one hell of a mess in your workplace, so keep that in mind. I had chips everywhere in no time. Costs money!

They work well on aluminum which I expected AND wood or PVC which I didn't. I have worked with carbide burs for many years and have long found that standard burs cannot be used on aluminium, plastic or wood as the flutes tend to clog. Not with these! A few small jobs sped up a bit!

I bought these with the intention of cleaning the inside of a cast aluminum valve cover. I've used a few of them to clear the confusion from within. They worked great, chewing through aluminum quickly and staying sharp. The case they come with feels nice, but I'll probably pull out the foam and use it to store all my carbide bits.

I used these carbide turning files to port an aluminum cylinder head. They worked well, but I was a bit disappointed that I had to periodically stop and scrape the aluminum off the rotary file's cutting edge. But! I gave 4 stars out of 5 because the problem could be soft and cheap aluminum; After all, I ported the TR7 cylinder head.
