Installed these Hellwig anti-roll bars and Koni dampers and struts at the same time. Drive a Mercedes 3500 Sprinter powered by a Leisure Travel Vans motorhome. Used to ride like a boat. Reinforced suspension, now it drives like a car! Good news.

We fitted them to the rear of our 2013 Mercedes Sprinter/Winnebago Era 170a along with a Hellwig anti-roll bar. WOW! What a difference in handling. I also installed Fox Shocks which was insanely easy to install myself. Do not be shy. You can do that! There are videos on YouTube that you can watch and replay.

Winnebago View 24J Class C Handling and ride feel greatly improved. We did it step by step in the following order. As a first step in the spring suspension upgrade, Rock and Roll, we installed Sumo Front Solos. Added second rear 47s (black). It improved the ride more. Finally, Koni FSD shock absorbers were added. The upgrade is complete and costs $650.

As all forum members said. This and the Hellwig stabilizer have greatly improved the handling of our Class C motorhome which is mounted on a 2013 MB Sprinter 3500 chassis. Even my wife, who is rather skeptical, noticed the difference immediately. It's much more comfortable for both of us, especially driving on the freeway, battling the Oklahoma winds and overtaking trailers. Easy installation. So far only at the rear, without front and replacement shock absorbers.

This is an amazing and FAST improvement in your Sprinter's ride quality. We have a Sprinter 3500-based LTV unit, and the bumpers, paired with custom-damped Fox shocks, made a big difference. We drive much more safely in curves, bumps and expansion joints wobble much less and rolling off the road is much better. Installation is easy and requires no tools. Don't wait to make this update.

I used to be afraid of slow exits from the parking lot. Lateral wobble when turning on uneven ground throws the load back and forth. Given the high roof, this adds fore and aft leverage, meaning the top of the van wobbles a bit. I ended up on a canyon road in Colorado, one way, no U-turn (extended 3500). Can't tell how effective these springs are as I only installed them today. However, I discovered a trick that makes installation much easier when trying to fit the rear spring tab into the rear bracket slot on the car's frame. Use a 1-1/2" or 2" stiff spatula. Wash one side with liquid soap. Insert the knife into the back of the hanger with the soapy side toward the rubber spring. Make sure you position the spatula straight up and down.
