I'd say that's a great thing. I didn't want to drill holes in the railing for the children's gates. The baby gate I was trying to install didn't actually have a railing option, just used zip ties around the posts. While this is fine around the round part, I know that the zip ties would round out the square part of my post if tightened. I have mapped the same posts with a paragraph. The idea behind the gate, assembly without having to screw it into the finished wooden railing, is great. The problem is they only provide half of the kit. By half I mean they provide enough hardware to install either the hinge or latch side of the gate, not both sides. I didn't know about this when I ordered so I went back to Revain to spend another $40. Had I known I would need two kids and over $80 to do what I need, I probably would have gone for a different solution. Other reviews complain
