Works perfect! 2008 Charger 5.7

Perfect replacement for my 2008 5.7 Charger. Access is limited, so it's a bit difficult to adapt the new one to the threads, but a little patience will fix this. Some people pull the generator for access, but it's not necessary if you're careful. Works perfectly. Ole was stuck with 100 psi syndrome.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Some bugs

The block works great! by oil pressure

This item was installed and working. Unlike my last purchase. My most recent purchase included two sensors for a fantastic price of $17 and some odds and ends. This sale convinced me that for a dollar or two you can buy another one that works. This was bought to replace an oil gauge that read 80 pounds of oil pressure.

  • New

  • Not bad

Scrap good for oil pressure

The sender showed a slow drop in oil pressure and I thought my oil pump was defective. To replace the oil pump on a Jeep WJ you have to take apart the entire front of the Jeep and the engine only to see that the new pump reads the exact same oil pressure. I tried a different transmitter before taking everything apart but got a "check gauge" error on the dash so I thought the transmitter was fine. Keep in mind that this is a car that travels less than 2,000 miles a year. I don't know what…

Difficult to install but worth the price

On the Chrysler 300 you must remove the intake manifold to access this sensor. That means you'll need manifold gaskets and a torque wrench to get it right. Took about an hour to get to the sender to swap it out in about 2 minutes then another hour to put it all back together. While you are there you can also change the plugs because they will be available. It's better to take the time to do it yourself than pay $300 for a store job to get it done. The transmitter worked great and I can no…

Made in USA: Switch

I ordered 2 new gauges from another manufacturer and one registered 0psi with a "CHECK GAUGES" warning and the other showed 20psi when the MADDOX Oil pressure tester read 70psi. I subsequently installed this USA made sensor and it reads 55psi at idle and 60psi while driving. I spent a lot of time fixing the first two as it seemed like the oil pump had failed until I bought a MADDOX oil pressure gauge and confirmed that I had good oil pressure. The next step was to find a working sensor. The…

Requires outlet - Parts

Installed on my 2002 Jeep Liberty Sport 3.7L. It was very difficult to install due to the location and make sure you have the correct outlet! You can buy it here or at your local auto parts store! It is very important! In the picture they show the wrong sensor and I don't have that. It's not just a regular hex thread. It is special for oil sensors. But my original sensor was a 6 way thread and I was able to remove my original with a large socket like 29mm (don't remember exactly), the sensor…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Low repairability

First of all: the image provided is of a different part. The part you receive will be very different. To remove the factory oil pressure sensor you don't need to remove the alternator as many say. Removing the generator takes a lot of time, it's just troublesome. My way of doing it is simpler and works well. Replacement instructions: 1. Loosen the hose clamp around the inlet. This is a flat round clamp nut.2. Disconnect the sensor that connects to the air intake box and set the top of this air…
