Went like clockwork!

People thought I was crazy when I wore this on Amazon on a mission trip to Peru. This kept the bugs off my face and I couldn't wipe the bugs away with my hands. So I say make her laugh. your laugh will be the last one because they will run and you will look at them. hehe hehe

Battle proven good for clothes

I look crazy in this but it works! I tested this product in Louisiana in late fall. You know the area that the French sold us because they didn't like mosquitoes. The mosquitoes were rampant the day I tested the product, they came in waves by the hundreds, but the net didn't wear out from its work. Battle-hardened, highly recommended for adventurous adventures.

Great mosquito killer!

Huge problem with mosquitoes in neighboring forests this year (and the last 2). Eventually I gave up and decided to stop the animals from getting their noses and eyes during my walks on the trail. The Stansport mosquito net works great! There are (fortunately) no mosquitoes to fight but the mesh keeps clouds of mosquitoes off my face and the mesh is very ventilated so breathing and vision are good along with overall comfort. Highly recommended. Unbeatable for the price in buggy scaffolding.

Combined with a Tilly or any other brimmed hat, this is perfect! We've been using them for years here in Minnesota - mosquitoes, horse flies etc will drive you crazy and prevent you from picking berries and mushrooms. They are strong - if they are ripped off a branch, they will not snap. I spray our homemade bug spray right on it when it's on (just close my eyes and hold your breath). From time to time I hand wash it in soapy water and hang it to dry overnight. Just worth the money - we buy…

Great for keeping animals away!

I took this on a long walk in Patagonia. While the mosquitoes weren't that bad, the flies could be. It's inexpensive, lightweight, very easy to pack in a backpack and does the job perfectly. I wore this over my hat when I was in places where there were flies, especially if it was a place where I wanted to rest. As a result, annoying flies did not bother my face and I could take a nap in peace. It's large enough to fit a 4-inch brimmed hat, long enough for the mesh to reach the collar and…

Works well in insect and pest control products

Inexpensive but highly effective. I usually go for a walk in the woods near the creek. It gets restless and the bugs tend to fly near my face. The veil holds her back. I wore it with a hat that hides the veil from my face; Without a hat, the veil touches my skin, but still I haven't experienced any bites. Visibility decreases. I read that black is better for visibility. Having not used the black grid, I can neither support nor disprove this. The net folds up well and fits easily in my fanny…

shields up! in Garments

My daughter and I take some of these mosquito nets with us when we go geocaching. We wear BugsAway clothing, which is excellent at keeping ticks and mosquitoes off the legs, torso and torso, but doesn't help much on the face and neck. We don't want to put any Deet-based repellent on the face. so we throw these nets over our heads when we collect a cache in the forest and there are no mosquitoes (that was the case all year this year). I'm sure I look silly but it's worth it as the mesh is great…

Great for everything but mosquitoes

I bought this net before my first trip to the Scottish Highlands. I wore it with a canvas fisherman hat with a short brim all around. The panels protected the net from the eyes and face, and it was very comfortable to wear it that way. I could see and breathe well without feeling claustrophobic. The cord at the bottom of the head net secured it nicely around the collar which was an absolute must. Worst purchase of my life - I'm done with "Stansport ".

Attention to tourists The product I received is not only not the one in the picture, it looks used and as far as I can tell is not functional. basically a mesh tube. Cloth "ties" look eaten by moths. (sorry I even brought it inside - couldn't there be moth eggs in there?). The good news is that not only did Amazon refund my money, but they also don't want this item shipped back to them. Not that I blame them, it goes straight into the trash. FYI, this is a Stansport B001E0WGB2 mosquito net…
