    Just as good as the original. Well built, right - you won't tell the difference. I bought a Starrett long scale at a flea market, that's all.

    Great Replacement!: Measuring & Scribing Tools

    I needed this to replace the 24" combo I originally purchased. I must have dropped it one or more times and it came out of square. This is a great alternative to spending another $100 on a blade and head as the blade is fine.

    Inconvenient measuring and marking tools

    This is a terrible product, yes it was really square before I used it to mark 4 sheets of 1.5mm thick 304 stainless steel (no burr/safe with the fingers sliding). Potholes after about 20 lines have been installed on the side, I make kitchen benches etc. I brought this item because of the advertising on it, "forged and hardened", looks more like potentially harder than a toothpick but can get battle scars, This one Item is worse than the mass produced blue combo set that everyone usually has.
