Best external card I've ever had (was UV200 See2Extreme, UV150)

I'm the previous owner. Tritton SEE2 Xtreme UV200 USB External Graphics Adapter and Eclipse SEE2 UV150 VGA External Graphics (TRI904050001/04/1). None of them work properly with OSX 10.8.x (Mountain Lion). From time to time they hung on the screen. So I ordered the DVI version and installed it on my Macbook Pro in early 2011 and it works fine with a 24" 1920x1200 monitor. Response times are pretty good for an external card (you hardly notice any difference when dragging windows), probably dueโ€ฆ

Great USB 3 DVI adapter for my MacBook

Another great Startech product. I use it to connect an old 24" Samsung monitor to my MacBook Air (2013). I have a 24" Dell monitor connected via Displayport and a Samsung using a Startech USB 3 adapter. This gives me a triple monitor setup (including the MacBook display itself) and plenty of screen real estate. The adapter works quickly via a USB connection. I don't experience any noticeable lag - even when playing videos. I tried the same setup with an older USB 2 (VGA) video adapter, but theโ€ฆ

Overpriced bullshit is best in USB to VGA adapters

I've been using this adapter for about a month now and I'm not very happy with it. Mac laptop that I have connected to two external monitors. One HDMI > Thunderbolt. I've never had a problem with any of the monitors on this cable. I use this adapter to connect a second external monitor. If it works it's ok. The problem is when it doesn't work. The screen connected via this adapter freezes for about 10 seconds and then goes completely black for about 5 seconds, after which it works again. Atโ€ฆ

  • There's something to it

Third screen: works like a champ!

Bought the StarTech USB32HDPRO to add a third display to a 2014 MacBook Air running Mojave 10.14.1. I connected a display (27 inch Samsung) to the MacBook's Thunderbolt port and used StarTech to connect a second Samsung monitor (and a third display). Downloading drivers and installation software from the StarTech website was an easy task, I chose the kit for my work. System. I screwed up the last installation step by not giving my MacBook secure access to the drivers. 1 wrong click. My mistake.

  • Easy to use

Great option for video: computer cable adapter

I recently got one of those ultrabook style laptops and can no longer use my laptop's port replicator. With Port-Rep I used a dual monitor setup and never had to open my laptop screen. The ultrabook cannot be used in this way. I haven't found a way to keep the laptop screen closed, but I use this product as a graphics card for a second monitor. Performance with my Dell Ultrasharp monitor was great. There are no problems with the video at all. Easy installation; ready to use in minutes. I was aโ€ฆ

I bought this before Yosemite when I was running 10.9 and was afraid of upgrading to 10.10 and driver incompatibility. I bought this adapter because I need a cheap option.

I bought this adapter because I need an inexpensive way to add a second external monitor to my Macbook Pro, which only has a Thunderbolt port. I am very satisfied with this product. Driver installation was quick and painless. The adapter worked right away. When you connect your monitor through this adapter, there is a brief delay, probably half a second, then your external monitor comes to life. I connect my monitor's DVI port to this thing and I get the full screen resolution. I only have twoโ€ฆ

Running 3 monitors with the base model M1 Mac Mini is GREAT!

Just received, super fast delivery from Amazon. After reading some success stories about using this adapter to run a third monitor on Macs M1. I just wanted to share my setup in case anyone has any doubts about this adapter. As you can see in the attached screenshot, I'm using an LG 1440p monitor, an LG 4k monitor and a Dell 1080p monitor. I was worried that my setup might not work as I originally planned to use this adapter on a 24" Dell in 270 degree mode. Since it's only rated for 1080p, Iโ€ฆ
