Starter 2009 11 12 Volt 14 Tooth N3R3 18 400 Review

Based on my observations, this starter is not suitable for high-performance cars. The build quality and durability are subpar, leading to frequent malfunctions and replacements.

This is a great starter. It comes with a test data sheet that lists the characteristics of the first tests. I had an rx8 that was flooded, after trying to take the spark plug out and clean the 'new' rebuilt starter motor, it still flooded. After the attempt, the starter started immediately. I could tell that its launch RPM was much higher.

Pretty surprised at how different this starter is from my OEM 13 tooth. This solved my hot starting problem, a tooth increase over my previous starter increased the cranking speed significantly. I couldn't be happier, especially at this price point. If you have any doubts about the purchase, do it, you will not regret it.
