Perfect for my Craftsman lt1000 looks and feels very solid, pop it into my lawnmower and it's ready to go again. 4 times cheaper than in local shops.

Bought this starter in May, used the mower about 7 times and the starter died! Thought to delay a few years. Not since (May-October) and only used 7 times during that period.

Easy replacement. I thought the problem was the battery, wasted money on a new one. The motor barely turned, but I figured it was stuck for some other reason. In the end I decided to try the starter. When I started the engine for the first time, it scared me. Instant Power! No hiccups and easy start.

Update: Starter cracked gear or shaft teeth after 5 uses. I haven't taken it apart yet as a replacement hasn't appeared yet but will be updated with news. I suggest not buying this particular device. First rating: Inferior quality than original equipment. Also too weak compared to the original.

Needed a replacement starter for my 2009 John Deere Z225 mower, I wasn't interested in paying $120-$170 for an OEM JD starter. Found this based on another review, ordered it, shipping was very fast and it is identical to the one that came from my lawn mower at a fraction of the price. I've only used it twice so far, but it seems reliable and starts well.

This is my second lawnmower this summer. The first was from another seller and died a month later. Although the seller was different, everything seemed to indicate that it was the exact same starter model/build when I received this new one. Quickly plugged in and the lawn mower started working immediately. So I'll leave it at 5 stars for now. Time will tell if it holds up or not. If he dies I will come and update this review.

This starter fits my old starter and the price is much lower than the local shop and very competitive, very easy to install but the first one didn't work and I had to send it in returned with no problems and three days later it was replaced with another one although it works fine. Would I buy from this company again, bet the only thing is they don't get one when you call and get a call back, nor do they come with instructions or diagrams on the product!

I recently rebuilt the cutting deck and replaced the belt on my Craftsman LT3000 mower.
