Works as expected on my dad's (2006 I think) Honda Civic. It was significantly less money than at the local car dealership.

Purchased to replace a faulty starter motor on my 2008 Honda Civic. Installation was a chore, but once I installed it, the car fired up smoothly and smoothly.

It was exactly what I needed. It arrived quickly and fits perfectly. Not the easiest of installs as the manufacturer put it on the car but it fits perfectly and now the car is working like a jewel again.

Second purchase for my two Honda Civics. The launcher works great, but be careful; Replacing the starter motor on an 8th generation Honda Civic is quite a challenge. Use three long extension cords and a rotating outlet to make life easier.

Discontinued work. I had to call a tow truck and replace it with a new one. I've only had it for 4-5 months. Thank goodness when I parked at the mall it stopped working my weekend. It was a horrible experience and a waste of time and money.

This starter motor fits our 2009 Honda Civic perfectly. We've been using it for a week now, no problems. The car always starts immediately. It's a little cheaper than officially licensed OEM starters so I don't know about its longevity, but so far so good. 5 months later and it's still working fine. The car starts straight away.

Product as described. I give 5 stars for ease of installation, but that's because it's not the manufacturer's fault that Honda placed the starter in the most awkward spot (right in the middle between the engine and the firewall). Installing it on my niece's 07 Civic was a headache, but again, it's not the suppliers fault. The car starts immediately, no installation problems for over a month.
