Good Price: Starter

Compared to the prices I've seen for this starter, I bought it and installed it as soon as it snowed. This is the first time I have had electric start on my snow thrower and I have to say it is a great product and works great. Would buy from them again

Easy to replace for 1/2 the cost.

The block was a little different than the original but after I removed the gas tank (two minutes of work) it was easy to install. The shop charged over $150 to replace the starter and I was able to do it for half the cost.

The starter works fine.

The starter works fine, the starter gear comes out and rubs against the metal case, now the plastic tip of the gear is worn out. Not sure if this will be a problem, just the facts. A cover for the plug would also be nice. I've used the starter about 10 times and it's still good.

Worked but looks fake

The starter motor worked on the snowblower. Finishing is less than the OEM it replaced. The switch body has a gap between the top and bottom. The rest of the starter worked as advertised. For the money this is good value for money. I'll have to see if this usage holds up for example an OEM part. I may need to fill a gap in the RTV switch housing to keep moisture out.

Ideal for starter

Ideal for H70 engine. I had to use it immediately as I had rebuilt the carburetor and the needle valves were a long way from being adjusted, requiring several attempts to start the engine before I had enough to make any adjustments. I ended up using industrial grade Velcro to secure the power plug and starter button box to the back of the snowthrower's drive belt cover. Very happy with the fit and power of this launcher. This makes it easier to start the engine at -10F! Very fast shipping of…

Saved a lot of money and *made it yourself!*

Super bargain. My local store wanted $200 for the starter plus installation. For less than $70 I was back in business. "Assembly" consisted of loosening the 4 mounting screws, removing the old starter, fitting the new starter, replacing the 4 screws (tight!). Everything except my snow blower is about 45 years old and has no holes to attach the starter button. (The old motor had a switch fitted.) 10 more minutes, some double sided foam tape, some zip ties and some tape (glue doesn't ooze like…
