Use Measurements listed versus what size you think you are

I just got this today and it seems to fit as required. Snug but not overly tight, and I seem to have a comfortable full range of motion. As I continue to lose the last 10 pounds of weight it may become slightly less snug but still should be able to keepMe warm. Mainly I’m not used to wearing wetsuits anymore so I’m giving it a 4 for now will upgrade once I get a chance to swim laps with it.I am 5’5.5” and currently 149-ish lbs, barrow slim build, 35” bust, 29”waist 38” hip. Size 6 fit me snug…

Pros
  • Just the right garment to keep me going to an outdoor pool for water areobics when it's a chilly day.
Cons
  • Limited color options may not suit all preferences

Sizing Example - runs about 1 size small

I was very confused about what size to order given the reviews and chart. I'm 5'11', 145lbs, 36in-28in-39in roughly, with muscular arms that are proportionally bigger than my torso. I was stuck between a 10 and 12, but only the 12 was in stock so I ordered it. It is definitely too big. I think an 8 would be best for my body, but not sure about my arms, so maybe a 10 for them? either way I'll be returning and reordering a smaller sizethe product itself is great though, keeps me warm in a new…

Pros
  • Fits perfectly. It’s exactly what I wanted for those chilly pool swims. Good value.
Cons
  • May cause discomfort or irritation to sensitive skin types

Best Investment for Snorkeling

I bought this jacket to wear when I snorkel. I am always cold even in warmer water and would like to stay in longer. I have used full wetsuit in past but not a fan of the difficulty putting on and taking off. A jacket and pants was a huge improvement. This jacket fit great. I was concerned with how long the sleeves were and how far down on hips it would sit. I spent a lot of time online searching for a reasonably priced jacket but was very dismayed with the sizing of a lot of brands. I am 5'10"

Pros
  • The orange is more of a coral shade, I think this is true to size. Don't size down.
Cons
  • May be difficult to put on and take off for those with mobility issues

Beautiful and Comfortable

It was so dificult choosing a size to order so I am going to be very specific. I weigh 140 and have very small frame and small arns. I am 5'6'. I normally wear an 8. Reading the reviews I ordered a 10. An 8 would have been perfect. I love the jacket. I bought it for snorkeling in Costa Maya, Belize and Roatan. It was the perfect weight. I could swim very easily and I was comfortable in 79 degree water. It is beautiful and a bargain at $30. I had to hold it down around my hips but an 8 would…

Pros
  • Water Sports
Cons
  • May not provide enough buoyancy for certain water activities

Works well for my opinion

I’m not a regular size type of guy, the size chart wasn’t spot on but I picked the most accurate and it fits good. Laughed a bit when one of the star ratings was "faltering” it’s only faltering if your body starts out being error free. I would buy again.

Pros
  • Ideal for protecting from cold water and wind
Cons
  • Material may become slippery when wet, increasing the risk of falls

Stay warm in outdoor pool

I am in a water aerobics class—outdoor heated pool. We use the wetsuit tops to keep shoulders warm. They work well. We use binder clips to clip them to our suits; otherwise the bottom of the jacket floats up.

Pros
  • I use it all the time in the winter. Love it!
Cons
  • Potential for wetsuit to tear or become damaged during use

Jacket saved me for cold water ATM tour in Belize

The jacket does run smaller than expected - I normally wear an XS to S but ordered a L based on the reviews and that was the right size for me. I actually ordered a M and L, but returned the M. I bought the jacket for the ATM cave tour in Belize as I was worried about being too cold to enjoy the tour since we were going to be wet/in chilly water for several hours. And it saved me. I am always cold/get cold very easily and this jacket enabled me to really enjoy the tour. Other men and women in…

Pros
  • Protects skin from the harsh elements, including sun, wind, and water
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those with latex allergies

Kept me warm, but did ride up a little.

I couldn't believe as I slipped into the cold water (lower 70s) how it kept me warm from my tushy on up. What more could you ask for? I've only used it a few times now but it seems very durable and is comfortable and looked good on me. I would recommend it to my friends, which I did and she bought one also, and she loved it.I did have to keep pulling it down to keep my belly and back covered while snorkeling. I would recommend the company put a strap on it so that you can connect it from front…

Pros
  • Tops
Cons
  • Not suitable for use in shallow water

great fit, keeps me warm on cold mornings in .

great fit, keeps me warm on cold mornings in the pool.I do wish there was a way to tighten up the sleeves to keep water from entering. Also, while the jacket is a nice tight fit, as soon as you get in the pool the bottom of the jacket will ride up. A drawstring bottom might help that. Even with these comments I love my jacket and could not have gotten through outdoors winter aqua aerobics without it!

Pros
  • Neoprene material is naturally buoyant, making it perfect for swimming and other water activities
Cons
  • Wetsuit may become uncomfortable when wet and rubbing against skin

Follow directions and order 1 size smaller, not 2 sizes.

The snorkeling jacket was delivered the next day. I followed directions and ordered 1 size larger and its perfect. Arm length was perfect and the jacket fell right below my waist. This jacket is much more comfortable than 1 piece and I can move my arms around freely. I ordered size 12 and I normally would wear size medium or 8/10. I haven't had a chance to use it yet and I'm just a little nervous the neck isn't small enough but my neck is on the smaller side.

Pros
  • Made from soft and lightweight neoprene material
Cons
  • Front zipper may pinch or cause discomfort in certain areas

Sizes are way off: my feedback

These jackets are sized for doll-sized people. I wear a size 4 (small in swimsuits). 36-27-37/115 pounds. Even though the website description says they run true-to-size, I first ordered a size 8, based on customer reviews that said they run small. I couldn't even get both arms in it at the same time! So I ordered a 12, thinking it should be plenty big. Nope. A size 14 finally fit, although it was snug. Be aware - the sizes are nowhere near what U.S. customers are accustomed to.

Pros
  • Dries quickly, so you can stay comfortable and dry during and after your water activities
Cons
  • May not offer enough protection against impact or abrasions

Only lasted one season

The neck and wrists have disintegrated after one season of Northern California surf. I had to stop wearing it because the foam lining was falling out and the wrists became so thin that you could wee though them. I do not recommend.

Pros
  • Helps to reduce fatigue and gives you more energy to enjoy your water activities
Cons
  • May not offer enough protection against the sun's harmful rays

Go up a size! best in my review

I had to go up a size. I’m 5’2, 115 lbs with a small bust and the size 4 was WAY too tight. I got a size 6 and it’s much better but there is now some bagginess under my arm area? Other than that baggy spot under the arms, I love how it fits! Looks cute! Go up a size, trust me. Especially if you have a larger bust!

Pros
  • Can be worn alone or layered under a wetsuit for added warmth and protection
Cons
  • Potential for wetsuit to deteriorate and become less effective over time

Still like new after 4 months of 3-5x a week usage

I got this so I could keep doing laps in through the SoCal winter. So far it’s still doing its job. I’m 5’4” and 108lbs. I started with a medium but it was too big. So I exchanged it for a Small. The Small is a touch large but I kept it anyway. I’ll probably try an XS when it’s time to get a new one. 4 months in after using it 3-5 times a week and it’s still in great shape. It hasn’t faded at all.

Pros
  • Wetsuit top is designed to stay put, even during intense water activities
Cons
  • May not be appropriate for all kinds of water sports or activities

Totally Mis-sized! Not So Bad

The 2 Stars are for the attractive color and the better than average quality of the fabric and workmanship.Original review:Would give 4 stars if the suit fits. The wife ordered 2 jackets, a Large and a Medium, being aware of how the sizing can be 2 sizes smaller than usual. First, instead of a Medium, Best Buy sent a Small. Only a child of 6 could get into it! I immediately sent it back. She usually wears a XS or S. The Large is snug in the bodice, but the shoulders and armholes are very tight.

Pros
  • Provides great insulation without adding excess weight or bulk
Cons
  • May not offer enough flexibility for free movement during water sports

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Consider ordering one size smaller.

This jacket has vivid beautiful color. Love the fabric. The fit though was a size too big in the arms. The arms fill up with water. I would say it’s best for someone tall with long arms.

Pros
  • Wetsuits
Cons
  • Front zipper could potentially get caught on hair or clothing

Was the best thing we decided to pack!

Just spent a week in Maui snorkeling every day. It was typical Maui weather; warm and muggy. Water temps were around 80 to 82 degrees.Lots of people were snorkeling without neoprene tops, but I guarantee that my husband and I were probably the most comfortable. He had short sleeves and I had long. I was a little worried that I would overheat, but that was not the case. We were both so happy to be able to stay in the water for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, and only came out because we were physically…

Pros
  • Available in a range of sizes, so you can find the perfect fit for you
Cons
  • Could potentially cause overheating and dehydration during extended use

True to size good for me

I probably should have ordered a 10 rather than a 12. I'm 5'3' and weigh 134 lbs. but ordered the larger size as I have large hips. This jacket seems well made and keeps me warm, but is quite long (I'm short waisted) and the sleeves are full and loose. As a result, it rides up a great deal when I wear it for water aerobics.

Pros
  • Perfect for water sports when weather and water is cold
Cons
  • Restricted movement due to tight fit of wetsuit top

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Become loose when wet

Nice snug fit when dry. I use for water aerobics. Water seeps up sleeves and the bottom expands, lifts up and folds over during exercises. It keeps me warmer than with only a swimsuit, but nowhere as useful as I thought it would be for warmth in cool water. I'm thinking of stitching up the sides from the bottom to make the fit more narrow, but it then could be too tight to zip when dry?

Pros
  • Easy to care for and maintain, so you can enjoy it for years to come
Cons
  • May not be suitable for prolonged exposure to saltwater

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Seemed to fit except for length. Weird neckline on me.

The neckline above the zipper was uncomfortably high, bit did it look right. It was generally long on my body. I'm 5'tall, 130lbs. Arms were 6 inches too long. Not that it is poorly made, it just didn't fit my body. Collar was lower in back than I would have liked and higher in front. If the collar was snug, it would allow less cold water in. I liked that the zipper did not show.

Pros
  • Size seems to run quite small. I returned it. Seems to be a quality product.
Cons
  • May not offer enough protection for rough or rocky water environments
