I like the size of this product. There are different sizes of cakes in different sizes, but I personally like making big cakes. I really don't like that they don't have grooves on the bottom of the cake stand for easy stacking. Overall this is a great product, very handy for transporting ready made cakes to parties or family gatherings. Make sure the cover is securely fastened before riding.

We're keeping it, but based on the average cake pan, this container is 50% taller and rounder than the average cake pan. Takes up much more space in the fridge than expected. I have never seen a cake in real life or on TV that is the size of the picture shown. If you buy normal cake tins in the store and bake a cake on them. You can stack 2 cakes on top of each other and the lid will close and there is also at least 4 inches of free space around the cake trays.

I really liked this cake container that I bought in May 2019. what I wanted. Then the hinge broke about three weeks ago. I opened it up and immediately received two separate pieces, which wasn't what I wanted. Since I can no longer use it for cakes I will make it work like a flower pot trivet. Too bad it didn't last as intended, so I can't recommend this product.

I bought this to cover my old 10" Pyrex glass cake pan with what I call short grommets or handles. The pyrex sheet would not snap the lid into place, but a quick easy fix was to make a small loop of foil the diameter of my pinky. Outer loop on the bottom of the Cartier, place the cake pan over the loop. This raised the bowl so the handles weren't pressing on the sides of the container, and the lid closed and snapped shut. It works wonders for my 10 inch round cake pans with no extensions.

Excellent cake containers. I've been looking for weeks for something to carry my travel cakes and it's great. My 9" deep cake pan fits them perfectly. The container is nice and light, easy to clean and store. The only thing that bothers me and doesn't like is the part it connects to. How long does it take to get to that one Plastic breaks I think this part could have been made a little better to last a little longer but as I only use it once a year over the holidays I'm fine with it so might…

Now I feel safe taking my cakes to an event knowing that the cake container won't let me down no matter what I put in it. Hot, cold: doesn't matter; It works well. I hesitated at first when I saw a hinge about 2 inches in diameter; However, I don't care now. It may fail in a few years, but by then it probably won't matter. This cake tin is great! I bought it with a cake 'n carry with a lid which I haven't received yet but will check when I do. I didn't realize there was a small hinge (i.e. the lid connects to the bottom) and I'm not sure if I like it or not (because you can't completely remove the lid, which you might want to do for example under the container so it doesn't get in the way when you take it to lunch) BUT it's *very* easy to cut to separate the lid from the base if I (or you) want to. clear glass…
