The cap itself is very nice, good quality material. However, if you have a large head, as I do, you will have to scrunch it down and it will be a tight fit.

having said that, this is the warmest hat i've ever owned. i have to walk to and from and wait for buses on my work commute. i've worn this when we've had sub zero wind chill days and have had absolutely no problem with the wind or cold. it was almost too warm even. the face mask is not as toasty as the rest of the hat but that's not a drawback for me.

Brilliant trapper hat with nice fur on the inside, helpful nylon on the outside. Definitely water resistant, don’t know yet about water "proof”, but mostly this thing is warm af. I live in Milwaukee and this keeps the cold, wind, and precipitation out. Absolutely can’t miss for the money.
