🔧 High-Quality Steelex D4176 3” Cast Iron Fixed Caster for SHOP FOX D2058A Mobile Bases Review

Very heavy, replaced some plastic wheels on my 15 year old 14 inch Grizzly band saw. Seems to be working fine. Spindles disassembled and lubricated before installation.

They are PERFECT for Fox Store D2058A! Shop Fox should make them standard in place of those cheap rubber-coated plastic wheels, especially on their heavy bases.

I bought these to replace useless rollers on a Shop Fox D2057A heavy duty mobile base. They fit together perfectly and being cast iron they should last, I say, until the cows return home.

After changing the 'synthetic' wheels twice and wearing them out over time, I installed them and am delighted. So far, so good. Excellent quality. However, I must add that I am using them on a concrete floor. This rating also applies to 360-degree videos.

The best thing about these skates is that they are not made of rubber or plastic. I recently replaced the original casters with direct copies of the plastic/rubber casters that came with the original Shop Fox mobile stand that I use with my band saw. The OEM rubber/plastic replacements didn't even last a week. Scrap metal! These cast iron wheels work and fit perfectly. Highly recommended when replacing OEM Shop Fox rollers.

Bought to replace broken wheels in the Fox Mobile Base store. This Shop Fox mobile base sits under an 18-inch jet band saw that weighs about 360 pounds. The original plastic rollers fell apart. I didn't want to buy plastic casters anymore and found these cast iron casters. What a difference when pushing the machine Iron wheels roll very easily, usually a push with one hand sets the bandsaw in motion. I no longer have to fight with two hands. Highly recommended.
