Reliable Solenoid for My Automotive Needs

The Stens solenoid I purchased has been a reliable addition to my automotive repair arsenal. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I was able to identify the solenoid that best fit my needs. It fits perfectly and functions as it should. The only downside is that it was a bit pricier than other options on the market, but the peace of mind knowing I have a high-quality product in my car is worth it.

Pros
  • Easy to install and use
Cons
  • May fail to work properly over time, leading to the need for replacement

OE quality starters and alternators

Replaced the intermittent solenoid with this on the Ez-Go TXT PDS golf cart. It fit perfectly and included all new hardware. We recommend the Stens brand solenoid.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Fits

Fixed intermittent no movement on my ez-go golf cart

Fixed intermittent no movement on my ez-go golf cart. Got new batteries just after I hit the gas and it didn't move intermittently. I heard the solenoid click but nothing. Then it got worse until we were stranded. I connected the meter to the terminals and noticed that there was no continuity between the terminals when there should have been. I also replaced the precharge resistor while I was there. I think he had problems too, because if the resistor worked, there should always be 250 ohms…

Pros
  • Multiple competitors
Cons
  • unreliable
